What do I bring to class?

  • Driver’s License

  • 5-Hour eCourse Certificate of Completion (emailed after registration)

  • Signed Waivers (sent via email from your coach)

  • Riding Gear (must be brought on both days)

  • Snacks, Lunch & Drinks (you will have a lunch break)

Riding Gear Requirements:

  • Helmet – Full-face, ¾, and half helmets are acceptable as long as they meet DOT certification.

  • Eye Protection – A face shield, goggles, or sunglasses (tinted or clear). Prescription glasses are acceptable.

  • Over-the-Ankle Boots – Must fully cover your ankle, have little to no heel, and provide good traction with a rubber sole. Thin fabric shoes like canvas sneakers are not allowed. The top of the shoe must extend above the ankle bone.

  • Long-Sleeve Shirt or Jacket – Must reach the wrist.

  • Durable Long Pants – No holes, no flare, and must reach the foot. Denim or equivalent material is required. Dress slacks, leggings, spandex, and sweatpants are NOT allowed.

  • Full-Finger Gloves – Must fully cover the fingers. No open-back or knuckle-exposed gloves. Gloves must be motorcycle-specific or made of sturdy leather or synthetic materials. Dishwashing gloves and surgical gloves are NOT allowed.

  • Rain Gear – We teach rain or shine, so bring appropriate gear if needed.

How long is the class?

2-Wheel Course: 2 days from 8:30 AM – 6:00 PM (times may vary)

3-Wheel Course: 2 days from 8:30 AM – 4:00 PM (times may vary)

IMPORTANT: The 5-hour eCourse must be completed before attending the in-person riding class.

Do I need to bring my own motorcycle?

No, a motorcycle will be provided for you during the course.

What if it’s raining the day of my class?

We teach RAIN OR SHINE. Please dress accordingly and bring rain gear if necessary.

Do I need to do anything at the DMV after I pass the class?

Once you pass the class, you will receive a 90-day waiver via email. Bring this waiver and your driver’s license to the Georgia Department of Driver Services (DDS) to obtain your motorcycle license. No additional testing is required.

What happens if my 90-day waiver expires?

If your waiver expires, you will need to repurchase and retake the course to receive a new one.

What if I can’t make it to my scheduled class?

If you need to reschedule, you must provide at least 48 hours' notice by calling 770-865-8679. There are no refunds. A motorcycle is reserved for you on a specific date and time.

What if I’m under the age of 18?

You must be at least 17 years old and accompanied by a parent or legal guardian at the start of the class to sign the waiver.

Policies

Class will begin promptly, so please allow enough travel time to arrive at least 15 minutes early to check in and prepare.

Grounds for Dismissal (No Refunds)

You will be dismissed from the course without a refund if any of the following occur:

  • Tardiness or Absence – Missing any portion of the class will result in dismissal.

  • Failure to Follow Instructions – Willfully ignoring the coach’s directions.

  • Equipment Misuse or Damage – Abusing motorcycles or any provided equipment.

  • Unsafe Riding Behavior – Any actions that could result in injury to yourself or others.

  • Impairment – Consuming alcohol or medications that affect judgment before or during class.

  • Possession of Weapons – Carrying any weapons on the training grounds.

  • Aggressive or Disruptive Behavior – Engaging in deliberate acts of harm, threatening others, or using foul language.

  • Inappropriate Attire – Failure to wear the required riding gear.

  • Failure to Pass the Course – If you do not successfully meet course requirements.

Class Cancellation Policy

On-Road Riders, LLC reserves the right to cancel classes at any time. In the event that we are unable to provide the course, a full refund will be issued.
